About the Event
To honor the legacy of Cesar Chavez, AWỌ presents a public forum to address the current issues facing essential workers in California during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our esteemed panelists will discuss pertinent issues, such as the interconnectedness of a diverse labor force and American economic sustainability, wage equality strategies for workers of color, the importance of implicit bias training in management and the creation of new work opportunities for those often unheard or misrepresented in society due to color, class or culture. Join us in this conversation as we explore a new narrative of possibilities for essential workers, unions and corporations in a post COVID-19 America.
